The students
are back in classes.
The La
Mancha Lifestep is getting ready to leave for Romania
and Poland.
The Super
Bowl fever is reaching us too.
Miriam

a Holocaust survivor from Portland Oregon ( also grandmother of one
of our students) captivated the attention of the students and faculty
with her story of survival, fight and hope.
ONWARD and
UPWARD
Few
weeks ago, Mount Bachelor Academy staff members gathered to wish
Jaime Zamora and Jo Dee Fitzgerald “all the best” as
they move on to pursue other adventures in their lives. Both
long- term employees will be missed, but they are still in
the area, so we hope to see them from time to time. The evening
was marked by sharing memories, stories, and well wishes for
them both.
On
a happier note, Kelli Hoffman and Sharon Bitz both received 15
year anniversary acknowledgements, Dustin Kellogg received a five
year award, and five promotions were announced: Kelli Hoffman
is our new Admission Director, Ann Fisher is a full time Admission
Counselor now, and Lauren Scofield (former receptionist) will take
Ann’s place as the Admission Assistant. Jason Jackson is
our new Special Assignments Coordinator as Dustin Kellogg takes
his place as the Assistant Phase II Leader.
Mount
Bachelor Academy is all about growth and change; so we look forward
to the new perspectives of staff members in new positions.
