FOREVER YOUNG LIFESTEP

Forever Young Lifestep for the Peer Group 37 was marked by an important event: Phase Two mentor, Kori Kuana facilitated her first Lifestep after less than one year at MBA. Many thanks to those who helped and trained her , especially Desiree West.

As many of you know, Kori , a Mount Bachelor Academy alumni graduated from MBA in 1995, went to college, graduated, worked in Alaska until October 2003 when she came to share her experience and talents with us. During this Lifestep she was joined by two other staff facilitators, Alex Bitz and Steve Houghton (two of the founding faculty of MBA) and Bobbie S. , Phase Three student . A perfect example of passing  the baton!!!  Here are few pictures from the send off and the return for the Peer group 37.

For few pictures from the inside of the lifestep you need to email me

at alexb@crestviewcable.com for the password, ONLY if your child is in PG37

VOLLEYBALL CLINIC

On August 5th and 6th, the MBA Girls Volleyball Team participated in a volleyball clinic run by Dan Borreson from Salem, Oregon. Dan is a retired coach with many years of experience and success.

The event was organized by our own coaches, Charyn McDonnell and Julie Stuben.

ANOTHER FOREVER YOUNG

Yesterday, August 13, Peer Group 38 (Tessa, Kelly, Emma, Taylor, Jack, Nick, Mark, Clayton and Dan), after receiving a lot of encouragement and hugs from peers and staff, entered the lifestep room for another Forever Young workshop. Staff facilitators were Kori Kuaana (Lifestep marathon for Kori this month!) and Gregg Andrick. The well deserved honor of being student facilitators went to Eric D. and Marilia K.

This Tagore's verse was the legacy left behind by the August graduation peer  groups, 32 and 33. Parents , friends and mentors joined the Parent Conference, Veritas workshop and graduation ceremony. Congratulations!!
