Erin A.
Erin, age 16, is proud of completing the Mount Bachelor Academy program. She is especially pleased with the work she did in the Venture Lifestep®, facilitating the Bridge Lifestep and contributing to her peers by “back-rooming” the Forever Young Lifestep®. She believes that one of her most important successes has been the new relationship she has developed with her family. After graduation, Erin will return to Mount Bachelor Academy to live at the Graduate Residence, and to finish her junior year. This summer she will return home to spend time with family and friends, and then will begin her senior year next fall at a boarding school in California, or Utah.
Ryan B.
Ryan, age 18, is most proud of his new relationship with his parents, his participation in the Venture Lifestep®, and participating in a Mount Bachelor Academy Intervention. After graduation, Ryan looks forward to spending time with his family and enjoying a few weeks off. He plans to get a job in construction, and will begin college in September at Berkshire Community College in Pittsfield, Massachusetts.
Benjamin B.
Ben, 17 years old, had many accomplishments during his stay at Mount Bachelor Academy. The ones he is most proud of include facilitating the Forever Young Lifestep®, participating in a Mount Bachelor Academy Intervention, and graduating from Mount Bachelor Academy. After a brief home visit, Ben will return to Mount Bachelor Academy’s Graduate Residence until June and then will return home. He plans to get a job and finish is high school education at Santa Rosa Community College.
Katherine B.
Katie, 16 years old, is proud of being chosen to facilitate the Forever Young Lifestep®, and the work she did in the Venture Lifestep. She is most proud of the friendship she has developed with her little brothers while at Mount Bachelor Academy. Katie will return to Mount Bachelor Academy after a home visit, and will live in the Graduate Residence while she finishes her sophomore year. She will then return home to spend quality time with her family, and finish high school at a private boarding school in Washington state.
Kendrick D.
Kenny, age 17, has grown up emotionally while attending Mount Bachelor Academy and shared his knowledge with others by facilitating the Venture Lifestep®. He is especially proud to have been chosen as support for the Promise Lifestep®, and of the many friendships he has developed. After graduation, Kenny will return home to Albuquerque, New Mexico to spend time with family and friends. His plans include working for a car dealership, getting his pilots license, and attending Whittier College in September 2002.
Brittany F.
Brittany, age 17, has had many accomplishments since enrolling at Mount Bachelor Academy. Some of the things she is most proud of are facilitating the Promise Lifestep®, the Candlelight workshop, being chosen to support the Forever Young Lifestep®, and building her relationships with her Mother and family. Brittany is also proud of graduating from high school, and completing the Mount Bachelor Academy program. After graduation, she plans to return home to Southern California, get a job working with children, and attend a local college in the fall.
Lewis F.
Lewis, age 18 is proud making own decision return Mount Bachelor Academy complete program. His participation Forever Young being chosen facilitate Promise Lifestep®, were especially meaningful him. After graduation, Lewis plans to spend time with his family and friends. Lewis will attend college in Fall 2002 at either Colorado, or the University of South Carolina
Julia H.
Julia, age 18, is most proud of using what she has learned at Mount Bachelor Academy to stay in agreement on her last home break, graduating high school, the work she did in the Forever Young Lifestep®, and facilitating the Promise Lifestep. After graduation, Julia plans to return home until March, then she will move to Scottsdale, Arizona to work at a boarding school that she attended previously.
Greg N.
Greg, 17 years old, has worked very hard and grown emotionally at Mount Bachelor Academy. He is very proud of the work he did in The Forever Young and Promise Lifesteps. After completing a semester in the Graduate Residence, Greg will attend Classen School of Advanced Studies, where he will major in music and the arts. He would like to play in a band, and prepare for college.
Melissa P.
Melissa, age 16, has had many accomplishments at Mount Bachelor Academy. She has been in service to others by facilitating the Forever Young Lifestep®, and supporting the Bridge Lifestep. Melissa is very proud of completing 3 years of high school while attending Mount Bachelor Academy. After graduation, she will return to Mount Bachelor Academy, live at the Graduate Residence, and then in June will attend Oak Park High School before starting college in the fall of 2003.
Dane S.
Dane, 18 years old, is most proud of the work he did in Lifesteps®, being support for the Promise Lifestep®, captain of the basketball team, and completing high school. After graduation, Dane plans to return to Mount Bachelor Academy’s Graduate Residence until June, and then next fall will attend San Jose City College in San Jose, California.
Mackie T.
Mackie, age 18, has worked very hard, challenging himself emotionally at Mount Bachelor Academy. He is particularly proud of his work in the Promise Lifestep, the Aspen Wilderness program, and the way his relationship with his family has developed. After graduation, Mackie plans to work for Demo Clothing Store and then will attend college in September at either La Roche College, or Community College of Allegheny County, which are both in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.
Siena W.
Siena, age 15, is most proud of her emotional growth while attending Mount Bachelor Academy. She knows that re-auditing several of the Lifesteps® were major turning points for her. Siena is also proud of completing The Venture Lifestep, the SUWS program, and Mount Bachelor Academy. After graduation, Siena plans to get in shape for hockey season, get a job, re-do her room, and spend time with her family. She will start her junior year of high school at Northwood Academy, a private school in Lake Placid, New York.
