Graduations - June 2002

Tollie Rossi Bernstein
Tollie, age 18, accomplished a lot while attending Mount Bachelor Academy. He facilitated the Bridge Lifestep®, worked very hard in the Venture Lifestep®, and has renewed his relationship with his family. After graduation, Tollie’s plans include returning to Mount Bachelor Academy for one month to complete his high school requirements. He will then briefly return home to Seattle, Washington before working at a wilderness program, either at Kiatou in Canada or Alldredge Academy in West Virginia.
Philip Lincoln Caselli
Philip, age 18, has been very supportive of his peers while at Mount Bachelor Academy. He facilitated Intervention and The Promise Lifestep®, sharing his knowledge with others. He most values the friendships that he has made here. After graduation, Phil plans to get a job with Franciscan Vineyards, and will help his brother work on his car. This fall he will attend Marymount College, in California.
Christopher Anderson Cooper
Chris, 18 years old, worked hard at Mount Bachelor Academy. He is most proud of facilitating Intervention and the Forever Young Lifestep®. He found the La Mancha Lifestep® to Mexico to be a spiritual experience, and discovered a “higher Power” for himself. Chris plans to relax with his family this summer, and then in the fall he will work at the local skate park while attending Santa Barbara City College in California.
Eric Michael DeBruin
Eric, 16 years old, is proud of being chosen to facilitate the Venture Lifestep®, and the work he did in the Promise Lifestep®. Most special to him is the positive relationship he has developed with his parents. After graduation, Eric plans to spend the summer working for his father and attending an Outward Bound river rafting program. This fall he will attend high school at Episcopal School of Dallas, where he will complete his education and pursue his dream of playing college basketball.
Kaitlyn Emily Frederick
Kaitlyn, age 16, has worked very hard at Mount Bachelor Academy. She is proud of her accomplishments at Aspen, being chosen to facilitate the Venture Lifestep®, and the personal work she did in her second La Mancha Lifestep®. After graduation, Kaitlyn will return to Mount Bachelor Academy until August, to complete her high school education. She will then go home to Alamo, California to work at Mac Makeup Counter, and then attend college when she turns 18.
Andrew Craig Honeyman
Andrew, age 15, has had many accomplishments since enrolling at Mount Bachelor Academy. He is most proud of facilitating the Venture Lifestep®, and the work he did in his Promise and Venture Lifesteps®. After graduation, Andrew will return home to work for Portland Golf Club for the summer. This fall he will attend his sophomore year at Jesuit High School in Beaverton, Oregon.
Elizabeth Rand Hubbard 
Elisabeth ,age 18, has challenged herself while attending Mount Bachelor Academy. Her second Promise Lifestep was a major turning point for her,and she was later chosen to facilitate the workshop to share her knowledge with her peers. Elizabeth is proud of how she managed her third homwe break. After graduation, she will return home for summer to work at Tranquility Bay Salon. In September, she will attend Leon's Beauty School in Greensboro, NC. to study cosmetology.
Andrew Blaine Leaf
Andrew, age 18, is most proud of the relationship he now has with his family, and completing Intervention. After graduation, Andrew will have a visit with his family, and then will return to Mount Bachelor Academy as a graduate resident until December. In the future, Andrew plans to attend a college that offers Juvenile Criminal Psychology as a major.
Kathryn Virginia Leonard
Kathryn, 18 years old, has challenged herself and grown personally and academically at Mount Bachelor Academy. She is proud of being chosen to facilitate the Promise Lifestep®, moving up a peer group, and graduating from high school. After graduation, Kathryn will return home to Seattle, Washington to spend time with her family and friends over the summer, get a job at Barnes and Noble, and attend Seattle Central Community College.
Laurie Nicole Light
Laurie, age 17, is most proud of completing the Venture Lifestep®, the work she did on the La Mancha Lifestep®, and facilitating the Venture Lifestep®. After graduation, Laurie will spend the summer with her family, and possibly intern at a drug rehabilitation center to lend support to addicts, as well as gain support for herself. This fall, Laurie will attend DeAnza Community College in San Jose, California.
Blake Morley
Blake, age 17, was proud to be chosen to facilitate a Mount Bachelor Academy Intervention, and of completing the Venture Lifestep®. He has also taken charge of his life by managing his diabetes, which he feels is a major accomplishment After graduation from Mount Bachelor Academy, Blake plans to attend Bozeman High School in Montana, play soccer, and be on the ski team.
Borja Polo
Borja, age 16, has worked very hard at Mount Bachelor Academy, challenging himself both emotionally and academically. He is particularly proud of his personal work in the Promise, Venture, and La Mancha Lifesteps®, and being chosen to facilitate an Intervention. After graduation, Borja plans to return home to Miami, Florida where he will complete his high school education at Belen High School, and play on the soccer team. In the future, he hopes to eventually return to Spain.
Sheryl Anna Rowe
Sheryl, age 15, is most proud of the personal growth work she did while attending Mount Bachelor Academy. Her first Venture Lifestep® , re-auditing the Venture Lifestep®, and then facilitating the Venture Lifestep® were major turning points for her. Sheryl is looking forward to enjoying her summer at the beach with her family and friends. In the fall, Sheryl will finish her high school education at Walenberg High School in San Francisco.
Grant Solich
Grant, 18 years old, is most proud of completing the Mount Bachelor Academy program. He is especially proud of facilitating the Venture Lifestep®, and the work he did on Intervention. After graduation, Grant will return to Mount Bachelor Academy as a graduate resident to finish his high school requirements. He will be participating in Mountain Classroom, and the La Mancha Lifestep® to earn extra credits. Grant will spend the remainder of the summer with his family, work part-time, and make college plans.
Troy Steen
Troy, age 18, worked especially hard in the Mount Bachelor Academy program. He was able to move up a peer group and was chosen to facilitate the Venture Lifestep®. Troy is most proud of developing a better relationship with his family. After graduation, Troy will return home, spend time with his family, work for nine weeks, and then attend Chapman University in Orange, California where he plans to major in business and computer science.
Kevin Walgenbach
Kevin, 18 years old, has challenged himself while attending Mount Bachelor Academy. He is most proud of the personal work he did in the Forever Young Lifestep®, facilitating the Promise Lifestep®, and becoming closer to his family. After graduation, Kevin will go home to El Dorado Hills, California to spend time with his family, work for the summer, and attend American River Community College in the fall. He plans to transfer to a four-year college and get a degree in political science, law, or recreation.
