Friends, Mentors & News

I looked through each picture. It is a wonderful representation of the kid's activities . I was thrilled to see the wonderful  close up of our son with the young lady. He looked straight in the  camera and had such a pleasant open look on his face: so different from the  scowling we'd become accustomed to over the last year or so. I just thought it was quite illustrative of the change I hope is happening inside, too. As they say, "Pictures don't lie!"

It was also great because I had a feeling of closeness, seeing him in the MBA gallery. We feel so lonely without him, despite the grief he's caused, we are hungry for all our connections to him--conference calls, home calls, letters, and, now, a chance to search for pictures of him on the Website doing his day-to-day stuff. I hope he will stick his head in a few more pictures (and activities). Lastly, it's always fun to see the other kids and try to match names,  faces and parents, though we've only had one opportunity to be up there. After always knowing our kid's friends and families and after all those years of scouts, soccer, basketball, school field trips, pta, etc. I have "parenting withdrawal" being so disconnected. The chance to see all the kids, staff and activities gave me a sense of connection to the program."
