                                               Kellie A.

Kellie, 19 years old, has had many accomplishments since enrolling at Mount Bachelor Academy.   She is especially proud of being chosen to facilitate the Promise Lifestep and the positive relationship she has developed with her family.  Kellie has also established new long lasting friendships.  After celebrating  Christmas at home and attending community college Kellie will enroll at College Of Atlantic in Maine in the Fall of 2003.  She will be majoring in Oceanography.

 

                                                    Carly B.

Carly, 17 years old, is most proud of her academic accomplishments, facilitating  the Venture Lifestep and helping with the Forever Young Lifestep where she used her own experiences to help others.   Carly plans to spend time with her family after graduation, attend another private boarding program for six months and then she will return home to make plans for her future.

 

                                                    David B.

David, age 18, feels that the work he did in his second Promise Lifestep, Venture Lifestep and his LaMancha experience were his major accomplishments while at Mount Bachelor Academy. After graduation David will return home to finish school at Union High in Huntington Beach, California and work at The Daily Grind.  He would also like to take college night courses at Golden West College.

 

                                                      Jasmine D.

Jasmine, age 17, has mended her relationships with family and friends and is most proud of her sobriety during her stay at Mount Bachelor Academy.  After graduation, Jasmine will return home to Ventura California to live with her family and pursue her interest in art and cosmetology at Ventura College.

 

                                                       Michael F.

Michael, 18 years old, is proud of the man he has become, the positive relationship he has developed with his family; completing the program, and completing high school while attending Mount Bachelor Academy.   Michael has also shared his experience and knowledge by facilitating the Promise Lifestep and helping with the Forever Young Lifestep.   After returning home to spend time with his family, he hopes to return to MBA as an intern.  In September, 2003, he will start at the University Of Oregon and later transfer to Johns Hopkins Medical University to major in Psychology

 

                                                       Asher H.

Asher, age 17 is especially proud of his work on Intervention and regaining his relationship with his family.  He also feels that completing the program at Mount Bachelor Academy and never giving up were major accomplishments for him.  After graduation, Asher will go home to Los Angeles, California for a visit and return to the Graduate Residence to finish high school.  In the Fall of 2003, he would like to attend college at either Colorado College, Boulder, Co. or San Diego State in California.

 

                                                        Matt H.

Matt, age 18, is most proud of the work he did in his Venture Lifestep and Intervention which he was later chosen to help facilitate.  Matt plans to return to Colorado where he will teach skiing for the Aspen Ski Company during Christmas break and Saturdays.  In January, he will start college at Colorado Mountain College in Aspen, Colorado.  After a road trip to California next summer, he would like to attend a four year college in Colorado.

 

                                                       Jessica J.

Jessica, 19 years old, has worked very hard and grown emotionally at Mount Bachelor Academy.  She is very proud of her increased level of maturity, gaining self confidence and finishing high school.  After graduation from Mount Bachelor Academy, Jessica will visit her Grandparents for Christmas and then return home to Alaska for a brief visit.  She will then return to Oregon to attend Central Oregon Community College in Bend.

 

                                                        Kevin K.

Kevin, age 16, has had many accomplishments while attending Mount Bachelor Academy.  He has been in service to others by facilitating the Forever Young Lifestep.  He is also proud of his participation in his second Venture Lifestep and Intervention.  After graduation he plans to return home to Lake Forest, California where he will finish high school at El Toro High School.

 

                                                         Greg M.

Greg, age 17, is most proud of his participation in The Bridge Lifestep , where he learned to do something different, The Promise, where he learned to follow his dreams; and Intervention where he learned to speak up and change his thinking.    Greg’s future plans include: returning to Mount Bachelor Academy to finish his junior year of high school and then attending Brighton High School in Brighton, Missouri for his senior year.  His goal is to be an intern or instructor at Second Nature.

 

                                                         Caitlin P.

Caitlyn, age 15, is proud of building a strong relationship with her family, especially her Father.  She feels she has become a young woman and found out what she stands for in her second Promise Lifestep.  Caitlyn will return to the Graduate Residence after graduation until June, 2003.  Her long term plans after high school graduation are to travel and live in Europe and go to medical school.

 

 

                                               Elizabeth R.

Liz, age 17, has worked very hard with the emotional growth program while at Mount Bachelor Academy.  She is proud of her accomplishments, especially a new relationship with her family, being able to give herself another chance, and finishing off strong.   Liz will return home to Portland, Oregon for the holidays and then will enroll in either a community college or high school.  Her long term goals are  to go to a four year college to become a Marine Biologist and Photographer.

 

 

                                                              Ben S.

Ben, age 17, has had many accomplishments while attending Mount Bachelor Academy.  He is most proud of who he is and getting his life back on track with a good future ahead of him.   Ben also has new, more meaningful and honest relationships.  Ben’s future plans include returning home to attend DeAnza Community College in San Carlos, California, working and spending time with family and friends.  In the fall of 2003 he will go to college to pursue a career in Engineering.

 

 

                                                              Felicia T.

Felicia, Age 16, is very proud of being chosen to facilitate the Promise Lifestep where she was able to share from her own experience.  She is also proud of her work at Turn About Ranch and the fact that she will graduate from high school a year early. She will stay at the graduate residence after graduation at Mount Bachelor Academy to accomplish this.  She hopes to be able to attend The University of California in Santa Barbara to study marine biology in August of 2003.

 

                                                               Michael W.

Michael, age 15, has had many accomplishments while attending Mount Bachelor Academy.  There are three he is most proud of:  completing the program, facilitating Intervention, and the new relationship he has with his family.  Mike will be returning to MBA to live at the graduate residence for two months so he can finish the tenth grade.  He will then spend some time at home and working for his father before starting a new boarding school in the fall of 2003.
