LaMancha
Workshops - November
MEXICO

The LaMancha Lifestep® went to San Juan Osco, an orphanage for 33 boys over the border in Tecate, Mexico. We all, students and staff alike, felt a deepened appreciation for our families and all that we have when we saw the condition of these young boys. It changed how we view the world and makes our hearts truly grateful. After helping at the orphanage we traveled on to Guadalajara where we were immersed in the culture. We studied the rich history of Mexico, it's peoples, and its art. The ancient surroundings helped the students make connections with their own ancestry, their family roots and traditions. This LaMancha experience ties the whole process at Mount Bachelor together for these students and excites them about their future.
