Patrick
C.
Patrick, age 17, has worked hard while at Mount Bachelor Academy.
He is most proud of earning his high school diploma, being the
captain of the basketball team, facilitating The Promise Lifestep®,
and helping as back room support for the Forever Young Lifestep®.
After graduation, Patrick plans to return to Los Angeles and then
travel to Spain for 2 weeks in April. He plans to attend Fullerton
Junior College in the fall.
Tyson
H.
Tyson, age 18, is proud of the changes that he has made at Mount
Bachelor Academy. He has renewed his love for learning and has
really enjoyed reading again. Tyson was chosen to facilitate The
Promise Lifestep® and has explored his spirituality while
at Mount Bachelor Academy. After graduation, Tyson plans to spend
lots of time with his family and travel. He hopes to go to college
in Brazil and Europe and study world cultures and foreign languages.
Tyson also plans to follow his dreams in music by pursuing his
passions.
Erica
M.
Erica, age 16, has challenged herself while at Mount Bachelor
Academy. She has worked hard at overcoming many obstacles, was
the student in charge of Lifestep® set-ups, facilitated The
Promise Lifestep®, and was back room support for the Forever
Young Lifestep®. After graduation, Erica will move home with
her parents and will work with a tutor to finish up her high school
requirements. She plans to spend lots of time with her family
and later this summer she will be traveling to Europe with her
mother.
Tyler
M.
Tyler, age 17, is proud of the work that he has done while at
Mount Bachelor Academy. He was chosen to facilitate the Forever
Young and Venture Lifesteps® and started on the basketball
team. After Graduation, Tyler plans to go back home and spend
time with his family. He will begin to race motorcross in April.
He will be attending Emerald high school in Puyallup, Washington
for his year and senior year.
Mark
D. R.
Mark, age 17, has had many accomplishments since coming to Mount
Bachelor Academy. He is most proud of facilitating the Venture
Lifestep®, helping as back room support for The Promise Lifestep®,
being chosen as captain of the basketball team, and graduating
from high school. After graduation, Mark plans to return to California
and get a job. He will spend lots of time with his family and
friends. Next fall Mark plans to attend Long Beach State college
in Long Beach, California.
Alexander
S.
Alex, age 16, has worked hard on his leadership skills while at
Mount Bachelor Academy. He is proud of being backroom support
for The Promise Lifestep®, in charge of Morning Show for 4
months, and setting up many Lifesteps® with love and care.
After graduation, Alex will return to Mount Bachelor Academy as
a boarding school student until June 2001 to finish his sophomore
year.
Christopher
T.
Chris, age 16, has worked very hard while at Mount Bachelor Academy.
He has grown emotionally, academically, and physically. Chris
has been a wonderful example of giving to others on this campus
and has worked hard as a leader helping to facilitate the Promise
and Venture Lifesteps®, and sharing his talent for playing
the guitar with all of us. After graduation, Chris will stay at
Mount Bachelor Academy as a boarding school student until June
2001 and then he will go home to Miami to spend time with family
and finish his high school education.
Mary
T.
Mary Catherine, age 18, has challenged herself at Mount Bachelor
Academy. Some of the things that she is most proud of are; facilitating
the Forever Young and Venture Lifesteps®, overseeing the Morning
Show for 5 months, and receiving an academic achievement award
scholarship from Hood Women's College. After graduation, Mary
will return home to Maryland for 2 weeks and then move to Winchester,
Virginia in April. She will attend Shenandoah University, majoring
in Dance Therapy. She also plans to intern at Power/Warner Advertising
and Media Corporation and volunteer for Habitat for Humanity.
