Kristen
A.
Kristen, age 18, is most proud of her emotional growth work at
Mount Bachelor Academy, and completing both SUWS in North Carolina,
and SUWS in Idaho. Her Venture Lifestep® was a major turning
point for her, and during the La Mancha Lifestep®, Kristen
put this new knowledge to work confidently and consistently. She
is looking forward to spending the summer at home in Oklahoma,
with her family. In February and March 2002, Kristen plans to
do oversees service work, with Safari's, and will be volunteering
in orphanages. Beginning in the fall of 2002 she will attend Marymount
College in Palos Verdes, California where she will major in Psychology.
Brittney
A.
Brittney, 15 years old, has had many accomplishments since coming
to Mount Bachelor Academy. Some of the things she is most proud
of are; her second self-study, and the Forever Young, Promise,
and Venture Lifesteps®. Brittney is also very proud of the
work she did with her father, and the relationship she now has
with him. Following graduation, Brittney will go home for a few
weeks to spend time with her family and then she'll return to
Mount Bachelor Academy as a boarding student to finish her high
school education.
Ryan
F.
Ryan, 17 years old, is very proud of completing the Mount Bachelor
Academy emotional growth curriculum. He feels that his participation
in the Mount Bachelor Academy intervention, and the Venture Lifestep®
were most important in his emotional growth. After graduation,
Ryan plans to go home to Wyoming to spend three weeks with his
family, followed by attendance at Wasatch Academy in Mt. Pleasant,
Utah. He is looking forward to playing baseball at the Academy.
Zan
H.
Zan, age 16, has challenged himself while attending Mount Bachelor
Academy. He is proud of the work that he did, both here, and at
the SUWS program. Zan supported his fellow students by working
as "back room" support for the Promise Lifestep®,
and facilitating the Bridge Lifestep®. After graduation, Zan
plans to return home to Dallas, Texas where he will finish high
school at Highland Park High School.
David
H.
David, age 18, is proud of the work that he did while at Mount
Bachelor Academy. He is most proud of completing a Mount Bachelor
Academy Intervention, pursuing his passion for art, and developing
spiritually. After graduation, David will have a visit with his
family, and then return to Mount Bachelor Academy as a boarding
student to finish his high school requirements. In January 2002,
he plans to attend the San Francisco Academy of Art, and will
intern at the Urban Pop Art Gallery
Macalister
L.
Macalister, 16 years old, has turned his life around, and regained
a relationship with his family, while at Mount Bachelor Academy.
Mac uses his knowledge to support others, and was a student facilitator
for the Forever Young Lifestep®. His major turning points
have been the Venture, and La Mancha Lifesteps®. Mac is looking
forward to returning home to Bainbridge Island, Washington to
spend time with his family and friends, being a good big brother,
and having fun. This fall, Mac plans include, complete his high
school education at Bainbridge High School, and to train for and
play Lacrosse.
Tyler
M.
Tyler, 16 years old, has work very hard, challenging himself both
emotionally and physically while at Mount Bachelor Academy. He
is most proud of facilitating the Bridge Lifestep®, and completing
the SUWS program. After graduation, Tyler will stay on at Mount
Bachelor Academy as a boarding student for a brief time, and then
will return to Reno, Nevada to complete high school at Galena
High. His dream for the future is to be a private pilot.
Mark
M.
Mark, age 16, is most proud of the emotional growth work he did
while at Mount Bachelor Academy. He feels that the La Mancha Lifestep®,
and rediscovering his spirituality, were major accomplishments
for him. Following graduation, Mark plans to attend Wasatch Academy
in Mt. Pleasant, Utah to finish his high school education. He
also hopes to do a lot of hiking.
Joshua
R.
Joshua, age 15, worked very hard on his emotional growth work
while attending Mount Bachelor Academy. Major turning points for
him were the Venture Lifestep®, La Mancha Lifestep®, and
his second self-study. Joshua is proud of the personal contract
he made with his family, for after graduation. He is looking forward
to spending time with his family this summer, at home on Bainbridge
Island, in Washington. Joshua will begin his sophomore year at
Bainbridge High School in the fall.
Carrie Patricia S.
Carrie, age 18, has worked very hard emotionally and academically
while attending Mount Bachelor Academy. She is most proud of her
accomplishments at the SUWS program, of being chosen to facilitate
the Forever Young Lifestep®, and of being accepted by many
colleges for the fall semester. After graduation, Carrie will
return home to Houston, Texas for two weeks, and then enter The
University of Redlands, where she will major in psychology.
Lacey
T.
Lacey, age 16, has worked very hard on her emotional growth work
while at Mount Bachelor Academy. She is most proud of learning
to take a stand for who and what she is, establishing real friendships,
and relationships and finding love. She was honored to be chosen
as "back room" support for the Promise Lifestep®.
After graduation, Lacey will return home to Bainbridge Island,
Washington where she will finish her two remaining years of high
school and maintain a part time job. She is anxious to apply the
lessons she has learned to everyday life and to be a good big
sister.
Scott
W.
Scott, 18 years old, has worked very hard at Mount Bachelor Academy,
challenging himself both emotionally and academically. He is proud
to be graduating from high school and the emotional growth curriculum.
Scott was chosen to be "back room" support for the Bridge
Lifestep®. After graduation, Scott will return home to Juneau,
Alaska. He will work full time, and plans to attend community
college in the fall of 2002 in Seattle, Washington.
Alison
W.
Alison, 17 years old, has had many accomplishments while attending
Mount Bachelor Academy. She is most proud of completing the SUWS
program, being chosen as "back room" support for the
Bridge Lifestep®, and most of all, overcoming her addiction
to alcohol. After graduation, Alison's plans include returning
to Mount Bachelor Academy to finish high school, and then in January
she will enter Marymount College. She plans to volunteer for Americorp,
and wants to become an alternative adolescent psychologist.
Anthony
Y.
Anthony, age 16, has worked very hard and grown emotionally while
at Mount Bachelor Academy. He put a lot of effort into dealing
with his anger issues and feels that he has developed a closer
relationship with his mother, and the rest of his family. After
graduation, Tony plans to return home for one week to visit his
family, and then he will return to Mount Bachelor Academy to finish
high school. After finishing his high school requirements, Tony
will go to college in California and plans to work with his grandfather.
